New Micro Pick Up for US

A new type of pick-up truck has been unveiled in the United States.

The makers of the car Smart have called it the perfect type of car for a city life. The car is called “for-us” and is a scaled down version of the all American style pick-up truck.

Smart is car company that is part of the German company Daimler.

Smart has announced that their version of the pick-up is so small that it could fit into the back of most conventional pick-up trucks. The car is roomy enough for two people and has enough space for  carrying bulky items and even has the capacity to charge the front wheels of two electric bicycles.

The truck is electric powered and hopes to combine the ease of use of pickup up with the environmentally friendly nature of an eco-car.

The car was revealed by Smart at the North American International Auto Show.

Smart are hoping to break the US market after recent attempts in promoting their other small cars have not proved successful, with many Americans using larger cars for the country’s roads.
